How to HalfTime in Logic Pro X (without using plugins)

The infamous Cableguys HalfTime has found it's way into many producers digital tool kits, and for good reason! One of the best ways to quickly fill out some low end in your track or quickly flip a sample into a dark, ambient, moody melody, HalfTime is a must have plugin. Although I wouldn't consider it to be under the 'expensive' category of plugins, when starting out some people have a very limited budget when it comes to gear and software. Which leads in to today's tutorial, How to HalfTime in LPX by using tools within the DAW, no plugins required!
