In this video I'll be going over how to sample 808s in the EXS24 Sampler, a stock Logic Pro X sampler plugin. Although I still prefer Alchemy, the EXS24 is a powerful plugin that I'm finding myself using more often than before as I spend more time with it. I will show you how to find the pitch of your 808 audio sample and how to implement it into EXS24 so that you can create different patterns and midi, the best part... all of the plugins I use in this video are stock in LPX.
