So I've been getting into sound design the last few months and really want to start integrating it into this channel. I'm a big fan of Deadmau5 and thought this would be a cool sound to recreate in Logic Pro X using the stock plugin Alchemy. Deadmau5 typically uses real modular synthesizers to get the sounds that he produces, however in a pinch his soft synth of choice is Xfer Records Serum. I hope this tutorial kick-starts you down the path of sound design or if not at least you can get a cool pluck out of it.
